A bond of unity or agreement between individuals, united around a common goal or against a common enemy. To stand together.

This “Franglais” word comes from French solidarité meaning “communion of interests and responsibilities; mutual responsibility,” from solidaire “interdependent, entire,” from solide “solid.”
