Consistency
Make it a habit!
Consistency is more far more effective than cramming and then taking long breaks.
We often start off so excited, set big goals, and then quickly fizzle out. Set reasonable goals and build it into your schedule—you can always get more ambitious later once you create the habit! Also, consider the approach of using French in your daily activities that are already part of your daily habits and schedules—instead of listening to an English news podcast, try doing it in French. Instead of listening to English music while you work or commute, listen to French music. Start small; set goals and expectations that you know you can reach, consistently.
